๐งช VapoCept ingredients: every amount, checked
Seven ingredients, each with a published figure. Here is every one against the amounts research actually used โ and what is not on the label at all.
VapoCept itemises all seven ingredients rather than using a proprietary blend. ๐ That is rare and it earns credit. It also means the figures can be checked, which is what this page does.
| Ingredient | On this label | Commonly used in research | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| ๐ซ Niacin (B3) | 7.5 mg NE (~47% DV) | At or near daily value | โ Sensible |
| ๐ง L-arginine base | 200 mg | 3,000–6,000 mg total | โ ๏ธ 400 mg combined |
| โก L-arginine AKG | 200 mg | ||
| ๐ง L-citrulline HCl | 100 mg | 3,000–6,000 mg total | โ ๏ธ 200 mg combined |
| ๐ L-citrulline malate | 100 mg | ||
| ๐ช Beta-alanine | 40 mg | 3,200–6,400 mg | โ ๏ธ About 1% |
| ๐ฆด Calcium | 18 mg (~1% DV) | Daily value is 1,300 mg | โ ๏ธ Trace |
๐ซ Niacin: the one that holds up
At roughly 47% of the daily value, this is a real nutritional contribution rather than a label decoration. Niacin's role in energy metabolism and nervous system function is well established, and if your intake were low this would help.
One practical note: niacin can cause a harmless warm flushing sensation in some people, usually within an hour. It is uncomfortable rather than dangerous and passes on its own.
๐ง The amino acids: right idea, small numbers
Using arginine and citrulline together, and arginine in two forms, is thoughtful formulation. Citrulline in particular is the better-absorbed route and its inclusion shows someone understood the problem.
But research on these amino acids for circulation works in grams. Four hundred milligrams of arginine and two hundred of citrulline are a long way from the amounts that produced the findings the ingredients are known for. The arithmetic is here.
๐ช Beta-alanine at 40 mg
The ingredient we would remove. Beta-alanine is a sports compound requiring grams per day over weeks to raise muscle carnosine, and its connection to memory is not established. At 40mg it is roughly 1% of a research dose of an ingredient whose relevance here is unclear anyway.
๐ฆด Calcium at 18 mg
Calcium genuinely matters for nerve signalling. Eighteen milligrams is about 1% of a daily value — a glass of milk carries roughly fifteen times as much. The rationale is real; the quantity is not doing work.

๐ฐ See today's price๐ What is not on this label
This matters as much as what is. There is no bacopa monnieri, no ginkgo biloba, no citicoline, no lion's mane, no phosphatidylserine and no omega-3.
Those are the ingredients with the most memory-specific research behind them, and they are the ones most buyers of a "brain supplement" assume they are getting. VapoCept is not that kind of formula, and anyone shopping for one should know before ordering rather than after.
๐ท๏ธ About the packaging wording
The bottle reads "Clinical Memory Restoration". That is brand language rather than a regulatory term, no clinical trial has evaluated the finished product, and no dietary supplement can restore memory. We cover it properly here.
โ ๏ธ The cautions
L-arginine and L-citrulline raise nitric oxide and may lower blood pressure, so they can add to the effect of nitrate medication, erectile dysfunction medicines and blood pressure treatment. Niacin can cause flushing. Anyone pregnant, nursing, under 18 or managing a medical condition should consult a doctor before use. Full guide here.
๐ A fair summary
Excellent label practice. One well-dosed vitamin, four sensibly chosen amino acids at amounts far below research, one ingredient that does not belong and one present in trace. The transparency is why you can know any of that.
